An Overview on Testing at the DRC
Please note, we can only accommodate DRC students, particularly DRC students with testing accommodations. For testing purposes, we require students to schedule at least 72hrs before the quiz/exam, that means they can schedule the test right now, even if the test is next week. Our schedule is currently open until the end of the semester, except final exam week.
For final exams, students are required to schedule at least 5 days before the test date; we email both students and instructors once we open up the schedule for final exams.
If the quiz/exam requires some practical or performance evaluation, please feel free to consult with the DRC, but the instructor or TA might need to conduct the assessment themselves.

Instructor Steps
For instructors, we require you to fill out a proctor form using this link https://drc.uic.edu/drc-exam-proctoring-form-for-instructors/. Please include on this form any instructions on how to proctor or administer the quiz/test to the student(s). On this form you can also fill out the names of all the DRC students on one form, you can specify what date(s) and/or time(s) the test can be taken, also feel free to specify any additional instruction in the comment section of the form. You can attach the test file to the form if it is ready; if not, you can always email or drop off the test to us before the quiz/exam day (our address is listed below).
