About
Nicole was previously a graduate assistant for the Disability Resource Center (DRC) from January 2019 to May 2022. Her doctoral research explored how the presence of disability studies and disability culture programming on campus impacted DRC practices across four universities throughout the United States. Findings revealed sharing the responsibility of access with campus stakeholders was the goal that motivated all disability services stakeholders to continue to address the needs of students with disabilities in higher education. Since graduating with her PhD in Disability Studies, she has transitioned into a full time role managing the Alternate Format Team at the DRC.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
