About
Sandra graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1986. She has worked as an Official Court Reporter, Freelance Court Reporter and CART/Broadcast Captioner. Her captioning/CART portion of her career began in 2003 as a television captioner She holds the designation of Certified Realtime Captioner from the National Court Reporters Association. CART captioning has enabled her to work one-on-one with students and even tech employees to provide access to important classes and meetings. Her favorite part of her job is that even after 38+ years writing on her steno machine, she learns something new every day.
Fun Fact: She’s a techie and loves computers and technology. She was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and is a “Yooper.”
