Technical Standards
Pursuant to UIC's mission to provide the broadest access to the highest level of intellectual excellence, the Disability Resource Center provides the following Technical Standards. These standards establish the non-academic skills and competencies necessary for completion of a given educational program, with or without accommodations. In some programs all admitted students may be asked to sign or otherwise acknowledge understanding of the technical standards; they also serve as reference for the "essential" non-academic requirements of a given program.
Should you need reasonable accommodation to meet these requirements, the DRC can work with you and your home college to establish such accommodations.
